'Amsterdam. Forever…'.
This anniversary year focuses on the history of the city, its future, and the road to it. Mayor Halsema has said “Together we [will] look back on 750 eventful years, not only by telling well-known stories but by also telling new and unknown stories from the city. What connects Amsterdam residents is their love for the city, from which wonderful initiatives are already emerging to celebrate the anniversary year together. Amsterdam 750 is an opportunity to share that love for the city and to create something together that the city and its residents will enjoy, not only during that year, but also in the years to come."
